Maju Advisory was founded by James Hurst, a search and talent strategy professional with over 20 years of experience partnering with some of the world’s leading hedge funds and investment firms. Throughout his career, James has specialised in identifying and placing highly technical quantitative talent into high-performance financial environments where precision, intellectual rigour, and competitive edge are critical. More recently, as Chief Development Officer of a leading global search firm, he was responsible for the business’s strategic growth internationally leading graduate programme design, lateral hiring strategy, and talent expansion across key markets including London, New York, and Dubai. This combination of executive search expertise and growth leadership forms the foundation of Maju Advisory’s approach to helping high performance businesses scale.
